Types of Cloud

In the previous post, I told how you can use the cloud or types of services which is provided by the cloud. In this I will tell you

How many types of clouds are there in the world or used by the companies or you are using????

There are several ways in which Cloud Services can be provided or deployed by an organization.
  • Private Cloud
  • Public Cloud
  • Community Cloud
  • Hybrid Cloud
These are the 4 clouds which are deployed by an organization and used to provide services of cloud computing.

Private Cloud

In this Cloud, hosting is built and maintained for a specific client. The cloud hosting in private cloud can either be on premises or at third party location. Benefits of private cloud is data security.

Public Cloud

In public cloud services and infrastructure are offered to clients free of cost. This model is widely used in organization mostly used by Google and Microsoft.


Community Cloud

This cloud is a deployment model where the cloud infrastructure is shared by many organizations with the same policies.

Hybrid Cloud

As by name you must guessed it that hybrid means composition of two or more things to make something you wanted, that is why hybrid cloud is introduced that some features are good in one cloud and some are in other.
So, a Hybrid Cloud is a composition of two or more clouds that remain unique but are bounded together offering benefits of mutiple deployment models.

Or, in simple words,

In Hybrid cloud this model enables the organization to secure their data and applications on a private cloud despite of the fact that what the original cloud that organization is using.

How Yum Works?

How YUM works? Yum is default package used in Linux based operating system. By default it uses SQLite database to retrieve information of available dependency of packages. Yum use Createrpo Package to create repository of the available packages to remove dependency and createrepo create table of packages dependency in the SQLite database. So when yum create a query to install a package First yum search the configuration file listed in path (/etc/yum.repos.d) what repositories are available in the system. Yum update the all repositories available in the configuration file to search the package available. When yum find the package, it resolve the dependency listed in the SQLite database. Steps to install Ubuntu

Choose Custom Option, and Click on Next. In the Next step you have to see whether your system meets the minimum requirements or not, if it does, then click on Next.
